Alpha Cleaning Company recently completed a professional deep cleaning project for a commercial office in Vernon Hills, IL — giving the facility a comprehensive top-to-bottom refresh that restored cleanliness throughout the workspace and created a healthier, more professional environment for employees and visitors.
Vernon Hills is one of Lake County’s most active commercial communities — home to a strong mix of corporate offices, professional service firms, medical practices, and technology companies along Milwaukee Avenue and the Hawthorn area. Businesses here maintain high standards for their facilities and the professional impression they make on clients and employees alike.
Deep cleaning goes significantly beyond routine janitorial maintenance. Where regular cleaning maintains day-to-day cleanliness, a deep clean addresses the accumulated buildup, dust, and grime that develops over time in areas that standard cleaning doesn’t fully reach — vents, baseboards, light fixtures, cabinet interiors, and the spaces behind and beneath furniture and equipment. For this Vernon Hills office, a comprehensive deep clean was exactly what was needed to reset the facility to a genuinely clean standard.
Scope of Work
Our team began with a detailed walkthrough of the entire facility, mapping out a systematic room-by-room approach to ensure every area received thorough attention before moving on.
High and Low Dusting Throughout
We started at the top — carefully dusting ceiling corners, light fixtures, vents, and air return covers throughout the office where dust accumulates and is rarely addressed during routine cleaning. Working methodically top to bottom, we dusted all wall surfaces, picture frames, shelving units, and ledges before moving to furniture and floor level surfaces throughout every room.
Detailed Surface Cleaning and Disinfecting
All desks, workstations, shelving units, filing cabinets, and office furniture were thoroughly wiped down and disinfected — including drawer fronts, cabinet interiors, and the undersides of surfaces where dust and debris accumulate unnoticed. Conference room tables, chairs, and shared equipment were cleaned and polished throughout. High-touch surfaces including door handles, light switches, and shared equipment were disinfected carefully.
Restroom Deep Cleaning
All restrooms were deep cleaned and sanitized from top to bottom — fixtures, mirrors, tile surfaces, grout lines, partitions, and all high-touch points were scrubbed and disinfected to a thorough standard that goes well beyond routine restroom maintenance. Restroom floors were scrubbed and mopped in detail.
Breakroom and Kitchen Deep Cleaning
The breakroom received a full deep clean — appliance exteriors including the refrigerator, microwave, and coffee station were cleaned thoroughly, countertops and cabinet fronts were scrubbed, the sink and fixtures were polished, and all surfaces were sanitized completely.
Floor Care Throughout
All carpeted areas were thoroughly vacuumed including edges, corners, and under furniture where dust and debris concentrate. Hard surface floors were swept, scrubbed, and mopped throughout the facility — with extra attention to corners, baseboards, and transition areas.
Interior Glass and Window Cleaning
All interior glass partitions, windows, and entry doors were cleaned to a clear, streak-free finish — removing smudges, fingerprints, and film that had accumulated on glass surfaces throughout the office.
By the time our team completed the project the Vernon Hills office was genuinely transformed — every room clean, fresh, and reset to a standard that routine cleaning alone cannot achieve. Employees returned to a workspace that felt noticeably cleaner, brighter, and more welcoming throughout.
